All the fruit for this comes from an estate in the Swan Hill region where the growing conditions are quite harsh restricting yields and intensifying colour. After vinification in stainless steel half the wine spends 3 months in French and American oak barriques. Deep in colour it has violets and dark fruit aromas along with a touch of mint. On the palate it's fresh and crunchy with vibrant red and black berry fruits delivering buckets of flavour. The gentle tannins and balanced acidity balance it out really well.
