The grapes are hand harvested from 50 year old vines, destemmed then fermented in stainless steel before transferring to new French oak for maturation over a 28 month period before ageing in the bottle for 5 years before release. A deep ruby colour with a palate of ripe fruits of the forest, black cherry and toasted vanillin spice. Long lasting balanced flavours with great complexity on the finish.
