Description
The grapes are hand harvested from 50 year old vines, destemmed then fermented in stainless steel before transferring to new French oak for maturation over a 28 month period before ageing in the bottle for 5 years before release.
Dark color with a hint of brick-red on the edge. Superb complexity on the nose with balsamic notes and refined oak. Full in the mouth with a depth of mature plums, sweet spice, and roasted coffee beans.
